Innovative research channel for digital knowledge exchange

With 14 museums and a unique thematic diversity, the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden (SKD) are among the most important art collections in the world. Following the relaunch of the SKD corporate website, interactive tools was also commissioned with the digital expansion of the research division. For this, interactive tools built a standalone website with an innovative user experience.
International knowledge platform connects scientists and their projects
As specialist for digital culture portals, interactive tools realised website in German and English in conceptual collaboration with TBO interactive. Platform offers comprehensive overview of ongoing and completed projects and participating scientists. User finds all relevant project information, contact details and organisational framework conditions at glance.
Projects, talks, exhibitions and publications of the respective researcher are additionally visualised in a timeline module. The complex data structure was translated into a simple and understandable user interface with an appealing design. Editorial maintenance of the website is done via the CMS TYPO3, which offers high usability and flexibility.
