Google Analytics 4
GA4 counts events. Is it counting the right ones?
Events, conversions, audiences: there is a lot in GA4 once the measurement concept is right. We set it up, build the reports and stay reachable afterwards.
GA4 is installed quickly. It becomes meaningful later.
A GA4 tag is embedded within an hour. Collection then runs, and yet the standard reports rarely answer the questions people are actually asking. The reason usually shows up in the event model: whatever was not deliberately named and defined cannot be analysed later.
So we start before the technology. First we clarify which decisions the numbers are meant to support, then the event and KPI model follows from that, and only then do we work in the tag manager. That costs a little more time up front and saves it on every analysis afterwards.

LET'S TALK!
A close look at your GA4 setup
In 30 minutes we walk through your property: which events are captured, which conversions are cleanly defined, and which numbers you should not trust right now? You get an honest assessment, not a sales pitch.
HIGHLIGHTS
What GA4 does differently from its predecessor
Moving to GA4 was more than an update: the data model is a different one, and so is the work that comes before it. These five points show what that means day to day.
Event-based tracking
GA4 records every interaction as an individual event rather than as a session with page views. That makes analysis more precise, but it requires an event model thought through in advance.
Cross-platform analysis
Web and app come together in one property, and further sources can be connected. A journey no longer breaks off at the system boundary.
Model-based signals
GA4 flags anomalies in the data and offers predictive metrics for purchase and churn probability. These models need sufficient data volume, otherwise they stay empty.
Individual conversion events
You define the events and conversions that count for your business. Instead of standard metrics, you measure what your goals actually depend on.
Google ecosystem
GA4 connects to Google Ads, Search Console, Looker Studio and BigQuery. The BigQuery export gives you the raw data, so your analysis is not limited to the interface.
From measurement concept to dashboard
Some come to us with an empty property, others with a setup grown over years that nobody understands any more. Both work, and we start wherever things are currently stuck for you.
Setup and migration
We set up GA4 from scratch or migrate a grown setup without historical analyses losing their reference points.
Measurement and tracking concept
We design the event model, naming conventions and KPI structure so that analyses stay comparable over the years.
Tag management
We implement the concept in Google Tag Manager, document the tags and test them before go-live.
Integration of your systems
We connect shop, CRM and campaign tools so that online behaviour and business data come together.
Dashboards and reporting
We build dashboards in GA4 and Looker Studio that answer your business questions instead of lining up metrics.
Training and analysis support
We train your team and support the ongoing analysis, so it does not stay dependent on us.
Four steps to numbers you can rely on
The first two steps decide how much the numbers will be worth later. That is why we take our time with them before anything happens in the tag manager.
Consulting and implementation
We set up GA4 for the first time or migrate an existing setup. The starting point is not the tool but the question of which decisions the data is meant to support.
Tracking concept and tagging
We develop a functional and technical tracking concept and implement it via Google Tag Manager. Every event is documented and tested.
Dashboards and reporting
We build dashboards that show complex relationships clearly. Marketing, sales and management then work from the same basis.
Analysis, A/B testing and training
We test hypotheses, support A/B testing and get your team ready to handle GA4 independently. The goal is that you no longer need us for the routine.
At Bosch Home Comfort we have found in synaigy a capable partner who professionally supports us with the smooth migration to Google Analytics 4, the complex tag configuration and the comprehensive tracking integration for various tools and web platforms.
Where we work with Google Analytics
At Bosch we have supported the business units in analytics since 2018, at BYK GA4 marked the start of data-driven management, and at mera it became the basis for the dashboards used day to day.
KNOWLEDGE TO TAKE AWAY
From practice: GA4 and data quality
One technical article on why internal traffic distorts your GA4 figures, and a second on how the same data turns into good content.

Most GA4 projects do not fail on the technology, they fail on naming. When three teams call the same event three different things, the analysis is worthless two years later. That is why we start with a convention, not with a tag.

GA4 in detail: the most common questions
Google Analytics 4 is the current generation of Google's web analytics tool. It is based on an event-based data model rather than sessions and page views, and brings web and app together in one property.
Universal Analytics has stopped processing data; GA4 is its successor. The essential difference lies in the data model: GA4 counts events rather than sessions, which means many metrics are defined differently. Historical comparisons between the two systems are therefore only possible to a limited extent.
GA4 brings the technical tools for it: the IP address is not stored in full, retention periods are configurable and consent mode is built in. Whether its use is lawful in your case, however, depends on consent, contractual arrangements and the assessment of data transfers to third countries. That is a legal question we work through with your data protection team rather than answering in general terms.
A basic setup is ready within a few days. Complex landscapes with several properties, custom events and system integrations take a few weeks. We give a reliable estimate for your case after the initial assessment.
Yes. CRM and e-commerce systems can be connected via the Measurement Protocol, Google Tag Manager or ready-made integrations. Which connection makes sense depends on the questions you want answered, not on what is technically possible.
Commonly used are engagement rate, average engagement time, conversion rate and lifetime value. Which of them matter to you follows from your business goals. A metric no decision depends on does not belong on the dashboard.
The standard version is free, but comes with limits on data volumes, retention periods and accuracy at very high data volumes. For enterprise requirements there is Google Analytics 360 with higher limits and contractual commitments. Which option fits can be assessed from your data volume.
