IT strategy & technology consulting
Develop digital strategy, evaluate platforms and plan IT architecture. Technology decisions with foresight.
Architecture first, then the system
Good product data sells. Bad data costs you revenue.
Faulty product descriptions, missing images, inconsistent attributes depending on the channel: poor product data leads to returns, service enquiries and missed sales opportunities. With every new channel, the effort grows if the data model isn't right.
synaigy develops product architectures that scale: data models, classifications, attribute governance and taxonomies. Building on this, we implement PIM and MDM systems such as Pimcore or Akeneo and connect them to your commerce platform, your ERP and your marketplaces. With cloud operations and data-driven optimisation.

LET'S TALK!
In 30 minutes we'll discuss your goals and see together where it's stuck.
With this input, we analyse your project and discuss your options in a roadmap conversation.
Your benefit with PIM and MDM from synaigy
Five building blocks that turn scattered product data into a solid foundation.
Develop product architecture
Data models, classifications and taxonomies for your range. Before a system comes the architecture. Scalable for new channels and markets.
Ensure data quality
Validation rules, automated checks and governance processes ensure product data stays complete, consistent and error-free.
Connect commerce channels
Automatically distribute product data to shops, marketplaces and print. Integration with Shopware, VTEX and commercetools. Maintain once, use everywhere.
Implement PIM system
Pimcore, Akeneo or other PIM solutions: synaigy advises independently of the system, implements and operates. Data migration, training and managed services included.
Using AI and agents for product data
Automated tagging, AI-supported text generation and intelligent recommendations. Where enrichment and quality checks are still manual today, we assess whether autonomous agents can take over the step.

PIM projects in practice
A PIM implementation empowering the customer team, a consolidation of PIM and DAM, and a data set that machine learning can actually use.

TO BE CHECKED, requires approval. No published customer quote can be found for any of the three cases, two of which are anonymised. Three options: obtain a quote from GLOBE UNION LENZ, using the driving-licence model as the hook. Or a synaigy voice from the PIM team. Or remove the module from this page.

Your path to product architecture
From data audit to ongoing PIM operation. Four phases that ensure your product data flows into all channels structured, high-quality and automated.
Data audit and product architecture
We analyse your existing product data, sources and channels. Together, we design the data model, classification, attributes, taxonomies and governance rules. System-independent and tailored to your business model.
PIM system selection and conception
Based on the product architecture, we evaluate the right system: Pimcore, Akeneo or alternatives. We design workflows, roles, permissions and the integration architecture with ERP, commerce platform and marketplaces.
Implementation and data migration
We implement the system, migrate and clean up existing product data, and set up automated workflows. Integration with Shopware, VTEX, commercetools or other platforms is established. Your team is trained.
Managed PIM and data optimisation
Cloud operations on AWS or OVHcloud, monitoring and continuous optimisation of data quality. AI-supported enrichment, regular reviews and performance checks for your product data management.

TO CHECK
TO BE CHECKED: Third value open. Sensible would be an operational data quality metric, such as attribute completeness or reduction of manual maintenance steps. Deliberately not invented.
KNOWLEDGE TO TAKE AWAY
Whitepaper
TO CHECK: card 2 open. Also to clarify whether the guide from card 1 actually exists, under which specific URL rather than just /downloads, and whether a cover image exists.
Frequent questions on PIM and MDM
PIM (Product Information Management) manages product data: descriptions, attributes, images and variants. MDM (Master Data Management) goes further and covers all master data: products, suppliers, customers and locations. synaigy advises on both approaches.
The product architecture defines the data model: which attributes, classifications and taxonomies does your range need? It's the foundation for every PIM system and determines how well data scales and can be delivered to channels.
Pimcore and Akeneo as the main systems. synaigy provides system-independent advice and selects the PIM that fits your requirements. Both systems are open source, flexible and integrate with common commerce platforms.
Product data is automatically distributed via APIs to Shopware, VTEX, commercetools, Intershop and marketplaces. synaigy develops the integration architecture and ensures data arrives consistently across all channels.
TO REVIEW: The following price statement comes from existing material without a source and dates quickly. Please add a source and date, or replace it with a qualitative answer.
Open-source systems such as Pimcore and Akeneo have free community editions. Enterprise versions start at approximately 8,000 to 15,000 euros per year. On top come implementation, integration and operation. synaigy creates individual quotes.
synaigy connects PIM and MDM with commerce platforms, cloud operations, data analytics and UX design. Not just data management, but the entire chain: product architecture, commerce integration, operations and data-driven optimisation.
