Today I have Sven Baumgart, founder and CEO of Tremaze, as my guest. Together with Sven, we dive into the world of app development. Tremaze has developed two applications, Tremaze and Tagea. MACH architecture and the API-first strategy have become increasingly important in today's era of app development. Tremaze sees it the same way. Overall, MACH architecture and the API-first strategy are important concepts for ensuring apps are flexible, scalable, future-proof and user-friendly.

Tremaze has built two apps with a total of four full-time developers. They use the Scrum process for this and use Google's Flutter framework to write code in Dart and compile it into native mobile applications, so that visual adjustments can automatically be implemented for both platforms. They also communicate with their backend systems via REST APIs. The Apple App Store and the Google Play Store have different rules when it comes to publishing apps. With Apple, apps can be published within hours to days, whereas with Android it can take up to a month. This can complicate the development process, particularly for apps that need to be released quickly.
