Olympus Medical Systems Division with its six medical specialties have extensive product portfolio. Goal was, through reduced navigation, enable simple access to product for Olympus Europe's heterogeneous target groups: for that we radically reduced navigation. From gastroenterology to urology to pulmonology – users can now enter medical specialties directly from homepage via six large-format tiles

Based on usability tests, we placed the needs of users at the heart of the new website. To achieve this, we tested prototypes with doctors and specialists and refined them until we had a result that was perfect from the user's perspective. In the specialist departments, selected products are now prominently showcased and complemented by multimedia case studies. Users receive a practical overview of all products, can access further information, download product brochures and get in touch directly with the service team

We built the fully responsive website on the Enterprise CMS FirstSpirit. Whether product catalogues, videos or third-party applications – the CMS is extremely stable and impresses with outstanding usability for editors. Particularly helpful: we integrate third-party applications such as the events portal for training courses and workshops seamlessly into the website via interfaces. This way, we equip the web presence for the growing demands of an internationally oriented company.
