State-of-the-art corporate website: the task

Rieter's web presence no longer matched the company's high standards. Usability, security, internationalisation and SEO were just some of the areas needing improvement.
It was time for Rieter — itself a driver of digitalisation and progress — to underline its pioneering role on its corporate website too. Both the corporate brand and the employer brand needed strengthening online, since employer branding is gaining importance in the industry right now.

Fast and relevant: how we optimised the information architecture

rieter.com is visited by a wide range of audiences: customers, investors, applicants, media representatives and more. The new three-level navigation guides all users through the site quickly and easily. A full-text search makes finding specific information easier. The homepage shows the most important facts about the company and current events at a glance. The implementation was built on a completely new technical platform using TYPO3.

Machines with depth of detail: new product staging creates clarity

Rieter's products are highly complex and stand for quality and productivity. To do them justice, we completely reimagined how they're presented on the website. The product pages now feature videos, checklists and details on how things work. Users also find downloads there, plus cross-references to aftersales and components. The website is developed further under a "continuous relaunch" approach, meaning the site is progressively expanded and adapted to users' needs.

World Wide Website: Multilingual for the Global Market Leader

Rieter has locations in 14 countries. To reach as many users as possible, the website was designed to be multilingual. In addition to the German version, you’ll also find, for example, Turkish and Chinese versions. The website can be customized in each country and populated with local content.

Content strategically expanded: career and investor relations sections enlarged

Working with Rieter, we identified two website areas as particularly important. Their content was expanded and now provides plenty of additional information for applicants and investors.

Combining tradition and innovation: Rieter company profile

Rieter's machines, systems and technology components process natural and synthetic fibres into yarns. The Swiss traditional company shapes industrial progress through strong innovative power. Rieter is the world's leading provider of systems for short-staple-fibre spinning.
