User Experience Optimisation for Union Investment
Union Investment Privatfonds GmbH wanted to provide its content and functionalities exactly where users expect and need them. Together with our team, Union Investment was able to align the user journey and information architecture of its website more closely with user needs.
Working in agile sprints, we developed a prototype and refined it iteratively. At the end of selected sprints, we conducted UX tests to gain new insights into user perspectives and incorporated these findings directly into the next sprint. This resulted in an optimised information architecture and new content concepts for the homepage and other pages.
Using the online tool Figma, all team members could work on the same document simultaneously. This encouraged creativity while reducing the need for coordination rounds and meetings. As a result, we were able to make Union Investment’s website more user-friendly in a short period of time.

Iteratively better through user feedback
We worked in sprints. At the end of several sprints came UX tests, from which we drew insights that we incorporated into the prototype in the following sprint. This way, we developed our prototype iteratively, gradually adjusting the information architecture and the structure of certain pages. In the end, we were able to hand over the optimised IA and content suggestions for certain pages to Union Investment.

Online collaboration tool ensures creativity and speed
As mentioned, we did the whole thing on the basis of Figma. The tool gave us the ability to quickly make content-related (conceptual, editorial) adjustments within the existing prototype. Likewise, we were able to build and present different versions of a page very quickly.
Our team consisted of UX / project management / brand / concept / editorial – we were brilliant at working together simultaneously in one document (Figma)! This gave rise to creativity and speed.
